This is the outcome of a few frames i added to my balloon cycle, i tried to stay away from the common skip with the balloon and hopefully this has made it a little more interesting. I have found at the end that my walk cycle 'moonwalk's across the floor to the stairs and has since been corrected. (thats what you get for not checking you spacing :/) I have an Idea for the end of the animation, but again it all depends on time. I hope to pan around the back of my character as he watches the moon rise in the background. Hopefully i have time
So, this is my first post since before christmas. Having no internet back at far far away is no help at all if your studying animation. Anyway, over the holidays i have been working on mainly my digital skilss projects as lack of a light box is also no help. But i have managed to clean up some original sketches, making the arm swing to my character a little more defined and making sure my characters feet are planted to the ground rather than floating. I decided to add to one of the obstacles i chose to make the animation more fitting and a little more challenging on my behalf. Going back through my work I have taken a few frames out and moved some things around but in general i was happy with what i had a t the time.

A bit more on my walk cycle. still needs alotttt of cleaning up, and i am aware the floor level changes on the last few frames and also the size of my character. Whist drawing these in my spare time the floor slowly rose by about 4 cm of the course of 100 drawings... but lesson learnt :)

A little go at the start up scene i was talking about. I am aware that its really fast paced and i am planning on adding a few more frames in and it still needs a lot of wok. It was a just a half hour doodle session really but i think its the just of what i was going for
Try 2
This is my go at adding the arms into my basic walk cycle. i tried to experiment with his hands and rally tried to emphasise his shoulder adding to his 'creep'
My next mover is to 1 clean up the few frames i have found don't quite flow and to have him approaching his first obstacle... The puddle.
I have found that his right leg changes size right in the middle and that his left arms disapears entirely through the centre of the walk so this is definatley something i have to clean up.
Last night i had an idea for a startup scene we he escapes his 'bounds' and sneaks away so i am planning on working on this briefly when i have some time.
